En Cariló Hills entendemos la sustentabilidad como una forma de vivir, de ser y de cuidar la esencia de nuestra propuesta: una experiencia de descanso, bienestar y contacto con la naturaleza, en un entorno único de bosque, médanos, playa y mar.
Nuestro apart hotel, integrado por cabañas de 2 y 3 ambientes, spa, piscinas climatizadas, gimnasio, restaurante, área de recreación y espacios comunes, desarrolla su actividad en Cariló, un destino que invita a desconectar de la rutina diaria y conectarse con el bosque, el aire puro y la brisa de mar, que nos permite lograr la tranquilidad, la privacidad, el disfrute familiar y el respeto por el entorno. Por eso asumimos el compromiso de gestionar nuestras operaciones de manera responsable, manteniendo la calidad del servicio y preservando los recursos naturales, culturales y comunitarios que hacen especial a este lugar.
Nos comprometemos a cumplir con la legislación vigente y con los requisitos aplicables a nuestra actividad, promoviendo una gestión ordenada, segura y transparente que sea transversal a todo el establecimiento.
Trabajamos para prevenir y minimizar los impactos negativos de nuestra operación mediante el uso eficiente del agua, la energía y los insumos; la gestión responsable de residuos; el mantenimiento preventivo de nuestras instalaciones; el uso adecuado de productos de limpieza y spa; y la mejora continua de nuestros procesos de housekeeping, mantenimiento, gastronomía, recepción, marketing y atención al huésped. Asimismo, trabajamos con un ingeniero en seguridad e higiene que nos guía y aconseja en la aplicación de prácticas de prevención de accidentes y, ante el caso de que ocurra una contingencia, nos orienta sobre cómo actuar.
Buscamos maximizar nuestros impactos positivos priorizando proveedores locales siempre que sea posible, acompañando el desarrollo del destino, promoviendo prácticas responsables entre nuestro equipo y ofreciendo a nuestros huéspedes información clara para disfrutar Cariló de manera consciente y respetuosa, e invitarlos a participar de actividades que fortalezcan las prácticas sustentables y clases abiertas destinadas a lograr el bienestar corporal, tales como stretching, aquagym, relajación, yoga, etc.
Creemos que la sustentabilidad no debe afectar el confort ni la experiencia del huésped, sino enriquecerla. Por eso integramos este compromiso a nuestra forma de recibir, comunicar, cuidar los detalles y sostener un servicio cálido, profesional y coherente con el entorno natural que nos rodea. Trabajaremos sobre el canal de comunicación tanto a nivel interno como externo, ya que creemos que estar informados es la mejor forma de comprometerse y sentirse parte del proyecto.
Esta política será comunicada a nuestro equipo de trabajo, huéspedes, proveedores y partes interesadas; estará disponible para el público y será revisada periódicamente por la Dirección para asegurar su actualización y mejora continua.

SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT POLICY

At Cariló Hills, we understand sustainability as a way of living, being, and preserving the essence of our offering: an experience of relaxation, well-being, and connection with nature, in a unique setting surrounded by forest, dunes, beach, and sea.
Our apart hotel, consisting of 2- and 3-room cabins, a spa, heated swimming pools, gym, restaurant, recreation area, and common spaces, operates in Cariló, a destination that invites guests to disconnect from their daily routines and reconnect with the forest, fresh air, and sea breeze, allowing us to provide tranquility, privacy, family enjoyment, and respect for the environment. Therefore, we are committed to managing our operations responsibly, maintaining the quality of our services while preserving the natural, cultural, and community resources that make this place special.
We are committed to complying with current legislation and all requirements applicable to our activity, promoting organized, safe, and transparent management throughout the establishment.
We work to prevent and minimize the negative impacts of our operations through the efficient use of water, energy, and supplies; responsible waste management; preventive maintenance of our facilities; the appropriate use of cleaning and spa products; and the continuous improvement of our housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, reception, marketing, and guest service processes. We also work with an occupational health and safety engineer who guides and advises us on accident prevention practices and, in the event of an emergency or contingency, provides guidance on how to act appropriately.
We seek to maximize our positive impacts by prioritizing local suppliers whenever possible, supporting the development of the destination, promoting responsible practices among our team, and providing our guests with clear information so they can enjoy Cariló in a conscious and respectful manner. We also invite them to participate in activities that strengthen sustainable practices and in open classes aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being, such as stretching, aqua aerobics, relaxation, yoga, and other activities.
We believe that sustainability should not compromise guest comfort or the guest experience, but rather enrich it. For this reason, we integrate this commitment into the way we welcome our guests, communicate, pay attention to details, and provide a warm, professional service that is consistent with the natural environment surrounding us. We will work on both internal and external communication channels, as we believe that being informed is the best way to become committed and feel part of the project.
This policy will be communicated to our staff, guests, suppliers, and stakeholders; it will be publicly available and will be reviewed periodically by Management to ensure its continuous updating and improvement.
